AZIZA's First West Coast Intensive Weeklong Workshop!
November 3-7, 2008

AZIZA is a multi-award winning artist who splits her time between the Pacific Northwest and Quebec, has dedicated herself completely to learning, performing and sharing the ancient art form of Middle Eastern dance. Aside from eprforming, AZIZA brings a bounty of experience and many influences to her teaching style. She has grown rapidly in popularity and is in high demand all over the world.

Students will enjoy a rare opportunity to study with AZIZA for a weeklong workshop intensive on the West Coast. The intensive will have limited attendance in order to afford students an opportunity for individualized attention from AZIZA. Santa Cruz is a popular tourist destination -- while you are here you can frolic at the beach or hike in the Redwood forest! AIZIZA will begin the week by engaging in an assessment of participants in order to tailor instruction to your technical levels. Registration will commence each morning at 9:00 a.m. with instruction running from 9:30-3:30 p.m. with an hour break for lunch.

We are so pleased to offer a new hotel option for our out-of-town guests! The Capitola Inn (located mid-Santa Cruz County) offers a full continental breakfast. Rooms with a King sized bed are $99 + tax; 2 Queen sized beds are $108 + tax. Ask for the Bellydance Odyssey rate. Please understand that because Santa Cruz is a popular tourist destination, you need to book your rooms early! We do not recommend hotels along the beach corridor in Santa Cruz. If you are unable to book at the Capitola Inn for some reason, we recommend the Scotts Valley Hilton or the Seacliff Inn.
