Bellydance Odyssey Productions is teaming up with Zaina Hart to present the Double Crown Belly Dance Competition! While the competition has moved down the West Coast to Northern California, Zaina Hart remains the emotional center of the event. She will be on hand to emcee and, this year, to teach two fabulous workshops. We hope that you will come on down to California for the competiton and festival!
This festival will feature community performances, a bazaar, eight competition categories and workshops with the lovely Zaina Hart and Shoshanna.

Would you like to perform on Saturday or Sunday? We'd love to have you! After a few years of bungled call-ins, we've decided to have a "web-in". We still have spots available all weekend. Click here to register for available slots!
Troupe spots (four or more dancers) will be 12 minutes long; solo spots are now 7 minutes.

Vendor load-in will be from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, June 20th. The ballroom is completely full but we do have two "one-day" spaces available in the lobby area. The registration fee for one-day is $75 per table. Because the Veteran's Memorial Building is occupied by a non-profit agency, they require a portion of sales go to the non-profit. This year, we have included that amount in your vending fees and will pay the Association on your behalf.
Vendor registration includes a dance spot on Saturday or Sunday (subject to availability). In addition, we hope you will participate in our "fashion" shows (you provide the models!).
We are so pleased to offer a new hotel option for our out-of-town guests! The Capitola Inn (located mid-Santa Cruz County) offers a full continental breakfast. Rooms with a King sized bed are $99 + tax; 2 Queen sized beds are $108 + tax. Ask for the Bellydance Odyssey rate. Please understand that because Santa Cruz is a popular tourist destination, you need to book your rooms early! We do not recommend hotels along the beach corridor in Santa Cruz. If you are unable to book at the Capitola Inn for some reason, we recommend the Scotts Valley Hilton or the Seacliff Inn.
The deadline to submit program ads is June 1, 2008. We accept most formats but prefer PDF documents. Artwork should be emailed to Vashti. We can also design your program ad for $50 (per ad).
Quarter page ads (3 x3.5 inches) are $60
